We can all agree that $6 a day for food is not a lot of money, but it is a lifeline for so many neighbors in DC, VA, MD, and in the U.S. It’s a sin that Congress & the Administration want to cut SNAP to fund tax breaks for the wealthy.
This Holy Week, the Social Justice Advocacy Ministry invites the St. Augustine community to draw closer to Jesus by showing solidarity with our neighbors who struggle to put food on the table. On Thursday, April 24, we’ll gather online to share our experiences and take concrete action to save SNAP funding.
