Saturday, August 26 in Washington, DC

• 9:45 AM Gather at the Albert Einstein Memorial on Constitution Ave, between 22nd (across from the Lincoln Memorial)
• 10:00 AM Prayer Vigil for Peace and Justice
• 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM Attend the March on Washington Program (it's across the street)

       Afternoon options

• 1:00 PM Share a meal at a nearby restaurant (instead of walking the 1/2 mile route)
• 1:00-3:00 PM March (1/2 mile route from Lincoln Memorial to West Potomac Park ending near the MLK JR Memorial)
• 4:30 PM Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church (1419 V St., NW in the U St. corridor)

Monday, August 28 in Washington, DC

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Georgetown University's Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life
A panel discusses The Sixtieth Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom RSVP required for in-person and online featured panelist Sr. Anita Baird, DHM, past president of the National Black Sisters' Conference and U.S. Provincial for the Religious Congregation of the Society of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary.
