He is Risen! Truly, He is Risen! As we prepare to celebrate the holiest day in our Liturgical Year, we are reminded that even in a time of a global pandemic and economic crisis, the power of the resurrection remains unchanged. Although our Easter Sunday Mass may look a bit different this year – no standing room only Masses, no new Easter clothes, no altar full of lectors, dancer ministers, choir members and musicians – our celebration must nevertheless truly be a reflection of the glory and power of the resurrection! In the early days of the church, Christians gathered not in large groups in churches but in small groups in homes. So, as you gather with your family in your small group today, remember the heroism of our foremothers and fathers in the early Christian Church and take courage from their example of faith!
Please join us tomorrow at 11:00 am for our Easter Sunday livestream Mass. The links are below along with a liturgy guide.
