FOR DC RESIDENTS: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccine
Please check this site for ongoing and continual updates regarding vaccines: https://coronavirus.dc.gov/vaccine
Vaccination Registration
If you previously attempted to get an appointment and you did not receive a notification with a confirmation code, date, and location, you must re-register. We appreciate your patience as we work together to get Washingtonians across all eight wards vaccinated.
Currently demand for the vaccine in DC is much higher than the supply we are receiving from federal government. Mayor Bowser and DC Health continue to advocate for the federal government to send more vaccine so that we can meet the high demand for it and protect the lives of our residents and our workforce.
If you are not 65 and older and/or do not work in a health care setting in DC, please sign up for alerts via email or text for future announcements.
Thank you again. Together, we will save lives and end this pandemic.
District hospitals have started outreach to schedule their patient population of DC residents 65 years and older. Please visit the hospital website where you are a patient (seen by the hospital in an outpatient clinic within the last two years) for instructions on how to register for an available appointment. Like the District’s COVID-19 vaccination scheduling portal, hospital appointments are limited.

District Health centers are also scheduling their patient population of DC residents 65 years and older. If you are a patient at one of the following health centers, please contact them to see if there is any schedule availability for appointments. Of note, allocations of vaccine are very limited.
The District’s Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) cover all transportation (free of charge), to and from, all medically necessary covered services and appointments. To request transportation, the Enrollee should call the following number to schedule the service:

The County has entered Phase 1C for pre-registration. At this time, we are asking all County residents and those who work in the County, who are in 1C, to make sure you have filled out a pre-registration form. The County Health Department is vaccinating people in Phases 1A and 1B. Those in 1C who have pre-registered will receive appointments as they become available, which we anticipate could take several weeks or longer. Those who have signed up for appointments who do not live or work in the County will not receive a vaccination at our County sites, and their appointments are being canceled. You must provide proof of residency or proof of employment at the time of appointment.
The following individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Phase 1C:
Individuals who are eligible to receive vaccinations in Phases 1A and 1B and have not filled out the pre-registration form should do so as soon as possible.
Anyone who lives or works in Prince George’s County who does not fall into Phases 1A, 1B or 1C should still fill out the pre-registration form. Based on your responses, you will be notified of eligibility when the County moves into future phases of vaccine distribution. As additional appointments become available, you will receive a link with instructions on how to schedule your vaccine appointment.
