This summer— in partnership with the Washington Archdiocese Office of Catechesis— St. Augustine Parish will host a Faith Foundations Course as part of our commitment to empower and equip our parishioners with a deeper appreciation and understanding of our Catholic Faith.
Every Parish is by definition a Community in Mission. It is by intentional efforts such as this Faith Foundations Course and many other initiatives that we keep the Mission in Motion. This course, designed for the average parishioner who may have had no formal learning about the Catholic Faith since their early teen years, will help you live out the FULLNESS of your Baptism by embracing your God-given role as Missionary Disciples of Christ called by Him to do your part in fulfilling the Great Commission: “Go, and make disciples of all nations." – And the Great Commandment: “Love one another as I have loved you.”
You can find out more information on how you can register for the Faith Foundations Course by checking out the Flocknotes Parish-wide email communication. I hope you will take full advantage of opportunities like this one to equip yourself with the tools needed to keep our “God-given Mission” in “Spirit–guided Motion”!
