Sunday School Parents:
We will continue to pass along community service opportunities to you in an effort to increase support of these important efforts and to make community service a year-long effort. Here is a list of current opportunities and a reminder about upcoming events:
1. Boxtops for Education: St. Augustine School is collecting Boxtops for Education as a way to raise much needed funds for school projects. Boxtops are found on MANY household products and food items. The school turns in the Boxtops they receive and gets cash in return!!! Feel free to drop off the Boxtops you collect to Althea or Tony and we will get them to the school administrators.
2. Book Collection - Date TBD Our collections and donations of books have been embraced by our community and have been accepted with such gratititude that we will continue this effort as long as you have books to donate. So hang on to your books as we work out the logistics for the next donation.
3. Thanksgiving Drive and Christmas Toy Drive - keep an eye out for the flyers and announcements for the Social Justice Committee regarding the Thanksgiving food drive, the toy collection, and volunteer opportunities. If you see a great sale on toys or canned goods, think about donating them to these drives.
Thanks for your support of these important efforts. These are but a few ways we can all reach out and do God’s work, especially for our brothers and sisters who may not feel that God really does love them.
